Synergy is managed by a board of directors who are collectively responsible for
monitoring the management and administration of our services for the benefit of
all investors.
Greg Kirk – Chief Executive, Genesys Group
Greg Kirk is Chief Executive of Genesys Group (which became a wholly owned
subsidiary of AXA Asia Pacific on June 30, 2008), comprising both financial
advisory and investment administration businesses. Greg has been Chief
Executive of Genesys Group (previously Challenger Financial Planning) since
June, 2006. Prior to this Greg was Managing Director of AMP Financial
Planning, which was the largest advice business in Australia. Greg has
worked in financial services for over 30 years and has held senior
leadership roles across banking, trustee company, funds management and
financial planning segments in the industry. Over the past decade Greg has
been responsible for driving strategic change and transforming
organisations into sustainable, high performing businesses.
Robert Hayward B.Com CPA, Director Platforms and Products
Robert Hayward joined Challenger in February 2007 and is the Director, Platforms
and Products for the Financial Planning Division. Robert has extensive experience
across the Australian platform and administration market. With strong expertise
in the strategic positioning and implementation of product and platform relationships,
Robert has demonstrated strengths in optimising provider relationships, managing
productive teams and delivering to strategic objectives. Robert held senior positions
at Credit Suisse Asset Management and BT Financial Group across sales, relationship,
operational and management functions.
David Plumb B Com, M Ec, ACA
David Plumb joined Challenger Financial Services Group in September 2003 and is
the Chief Financial Officer for its Wealth Management business, including Synergy.
Previously he spent more than six years with the Tyndall Australia Group in a number
of senior finance roles where he was instrumental in growing and administering that
Group's funds management and platform businesses. Prior to joining the Tyndall Australia
Group, David spent six years with Ernst & Young specialising in financial services.
Neil Swindells - Non-executive Chairman, Genesys Group
Neil Swindells has had responsibility for providing services to advisers and building
effective business to business relationships with advisers at SEALCORP, AMP and AXA.
He is currently a non executive director of a number of AXA’s advice businesses including
Tynan Mackenzie and Monitor Money, and a member of the Spicers management board in New Zealand.
He was previously a director of ipac Securities Limited.
