Synergy is managed by a board of directors who are collectively responsible for
monitoring the management and administration of our services for the benefit of
all investors.
Ian Campbell B.Sc (Honours), MBA - Chairman, Genesys Group
Ian Campbell has over 25 years of experience in the Wealth Management and Financial Protection industry in
various areas of retail investment products, superannuation, insurance and related products.
Starting in market research in 1981 he has subsequently worked in many areas of this industry at senior levels
(product development, marketing, distribution, customer service and information technology).
More recently, for the period 1999-2002 was Chief Information Officer for AXA in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ),
General Manager Program Management and Information Technology from 2003-2006, and responsible for AXA’s
relocation to 750 Collins Street Docklands during 2007. His present role is General Manager –
Product for AXA in Australia.
John Saint – CEO, Genesys Group
John is responsible for Genesys Group’s overall operations and the implementation of its strategic plan. He has over 30 years experience in the
financial services industry, both in Australia and in Asia. Prior to joining Genesys, John held a number of senior leadership positions with ipac
Securities Limited, most notably as Head of Business Partnering and as a member of the ipac Executive team. During his 11 year career at ipac,
John lead the Practice Development and Acquisition teams where he was responsible for the growth and development of the equity partner and
aligned relationship community. John successfully supported the growth in practice profitability and adviser and client numbers. In addition to a
wide range of international consulting assignments, John has held senior management roles in businesses such as Colonial Mutual and Choice
Credit Union. John was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Genesys Group in December 2009.
Andrew Alcock
Andrew is an accomplished financial services executive with strong leadership skills and a track record of successfully leading strategic
initiatives, meeting growth objectives, consolidating business operations and overseeing many areas including management, customer service, operations,
information technology and product development. Over the past 18 years Andrew has held many senior management positions within the financial services arena,
having been the CEO of AAS and the Head of Asteron’s Wealth Management business. Andrew has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting and IT) from the University of
Technology, Sydney.
Neil Swindells
Neil Swindells has had responsibility for providing services to advisers and building
effective business to business relationships with advisers at SEALCORP, AMP and AXA.
He is currently a director of a number of AXA’s advice businesses including
Tynan Mackenzie and Monitor Money, and a member of the Spicers management board in New Zealand.
He was previously a director of ipac Securities Limited.
Craig Dainton
Craig has been with AXA Australia for 15 years. His Platform Administration Services and Wealth Management
responsibilities include end to end accountability for the quality of the service relationship that advisers
and clients receive using AXA’s platforms and products. These include retail and wholesale investment, personal
and business superannuation products within AXA. Craig has held a number of roles within AXA, including General Manager,
Central Operations, Finance, Business Risk and Project Management. Craig has 15 years financial services experience
and prior to AXA had completed 3 years in Chartered Accounting. Craig has completed a Bachelor of Economics,
Masters of Business Administration, CPA and Master Program Director (AIPM).
